Instructions

Virtuele apparaten (VDEV's), die doelen zijn van een SNAP-bewerking, worden gebruikt als invoer voor het IBM DFDSS-hulpprogramma voor dump naar tape.

Gelijktijdig kopiëren probeert een 00xx SNAP-sessie op het bronapparaat van de DFDSS-bewerking te plaatsen. Concurrent Copy is een SNAP NOCOPY-bewerking. De bewerking Gelijktijdig kopiëren mislukt. De reden is gepubliceerd in de TF/Clone Mainframe Snap Facility voor z/OS V 10.2.0 Product Guide, pg 90:
 

"A virtual device (VDEV) cannot have a relation with any target device."


De DFDSS-kopieerbewerking is voltooid, waardoor de VDEV op tape kan worden gedumpt.

Gelijktijdige kopie wordt echter niet gebruikt. Er wordt een retourcode van 4 uitgegeven samen met een waarschuwingsbericht dat ADR735W voor de taak.
