Instructions
Dell CloudLink: Technical Documentation provides key management that enables vSphere VM encryption and vSAN encryption.
Dell EMC CloudLink includes both a key management server (KMS) to enable native VMware encryption options, and the ability to control, monitor, and encrypt individual Windows and Linux virtual machines across hybrid cloud deployments.
To avoid an issue with KMS, ensure that at least one key management server is external to the vSAN or VxRail vCenters on nonencrypted disks.
Clusters will not return to service if KMS is internal on both clusters, and both clusters are lost simultaneously.
