Instructions

To install a license on an ECS, follow this procedure:
 

Before beginning

Obtain the licenses to upload from the Dell license management website.

Log in to the ECS

  1. Log in to the Management UI portal as the root user
  2. Log in to the ECS portal from your browser by specifying the IP address of any node in the cluster. 
  3. Type the public IP address of the first node in the ECS in the following format:
http:/<node1_public_ip>

Upload the license.

  1. Select Settings > Licensing
  2. Click Choose File. (Browse to and select the license file)
  3. Click Upload (Feature should change to licensed state)
