Instructions
In order to return space to a pool on the VNXe3200, follow any of the following methods:
- Using UFS64 NFS thin File Systems and deleting data within this storage will return unused space to the storage pool. (Note: This does not apply to VNXe models: 3100, 3150, 3300, 1600)
- Migrate data off and delete VMFS/NFS/CIFS/LUN storage
- Delete snapshots associated with VMFS/NFS/CIFS/LUN storage (Note: this does not apply to VNXe models: 3100,3150, 3300)
- Delete snapshots and protection space (Note this does not apply to VNXe models: 3200, 1600)
