Dell Unity: Ruoli utente diversi sugli array Dell Unity

Di seguito sono riportati i dettagli relativi ai ruoli che possono essere assegnati agli utenti che accedono a Dell Unity Unisphere (UI).

Questi ruoli sono visibili anche in Dell Unity Unisphere in Settings >, Users and Groups >User Management.

Manage user roles. Assign the account to a role to specify the user permissions. Users can be local to the storage system or authenticated using LDAP, while user groups are only authenticated using LDAP.

1:    Name        = administrator
      Description = User will have access to all administrative and management interfaces and data.

2:    Name        = storageadmin
      Description = User will be able to see all storage system data and perform all storage management operations.

3:    Name        = operator
      Description = User will be able to see all storage system data, but not perform any operations.

4:    Name        = securityadministrator
      Description = User will only be able to perform security tasks. They will be able to see all storage system data, but not perform any operations.

5:    Name        = vmadmin
      Description = Can only be used to establish a VASA connection from vCenter to the storage system.

1. Amministratore: Può visualizzare informazioni sullo stato e sulle prestazioni. Può inoltre modificare tutte le impostazioni Unity, inclusa la configurazione di nuovi host di storage e la gestione degli account utente locale,utente LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) e gruppo LDAP.
2. Storage Administrator (storageadmin): Può visualizzare le informazioni sullo stato e sulle prestazioni e può modificare la maggior parte delle impostazioni di sistema, ma non può configurare nuovi host di storage o gestire account utente locale, utente LDAP o gruppo LDAP.
3. Operatore: Può eseguire solo attività di monitoraggio. Fornisce l'accesso read-only.
4. Amministratore VM (vmadmin): Può stabilire solo una connessione VASA da vCenter al sistema di storage.
5. Security Administrator (securityadministrator): Può modificare le impostazioni di sicurezza, incluse le operazioni di dominio, ma l'accesso read-only alle impostazioni del sistema di storage.
