在 Dell EMC Unity 混合闪存系统或 Dell EMC Unity 全闪存系统（运行在版本 4.1 及更高版本）上创建的全闪存池支持 Dell EMC Unity 压缩。

在扩展受益于压缩节省的全闪存池时，必须使用兼容的驱动器进行扩展;
  • 包含 SAS Flash 2 或 SAS Flash 3 驱动器的池可以通过添加更多 SAS Flash 2 或 SAS Flash 3 驱动器进行扩展。
  • 包含 SAS Flash 4 驱动器的池只能使用 SAS Flash 4 驱动器进行扩展。
  • 全闪存池不能使用 SAS 或 NL-SAS 驱动器进行扩展，而池中仍可节省压缩空间。

如果禁用压缩，先前压缩的 LUN 可能仍保留压缩段（因此仍显示压缩节省），直到这些段上有 IO作。在这种情况下，使用 SAS 或 NL-SAS 驱动器扩展全闪存池仍然会失败，直到节省降至 0。
 
  • 如何检查池/LUN 上的当前压缩节省量？
  1. 从 Unisphere GUI 的 Storage >Pools下，转至相关池的 Pool Properties ，然后导航到 Usage 选项卡。您将看到 Compression Savings 值。
同样，对于 LUN，在 Storage >Block LUNs> 下，转至相关 LUN 的 LUN Properties，您将在 General 选项卡下找到 Compression Savings。
