Symptoms

Impossibile esplorare SharePoint Farm nell'interfaccia utente di Avamar con errore (il servizio writer non è in esecuzione o non è registrato). 

Parte pertinente del registro di backup:

Cause

Il writer SharePoint VSS non è registrato a causa di un aggiornamento, un aggiornamento o una configurazione.

Resolution

  1. Verificare che il servizio SharePoint VSS Writer sia impostato su "Accedi come" Account amministratore farm SharePoint (<dominio>\<utente>) 
  2. In qualità di amministratore di SharePoint, in SharePoint PowerShell eseguire il comando seguente:
     
stsadm -o unregisterwsswriter

 stsadm -o registerwsswriter

 

 

 Sono stati introdotti nuovi cmdlet di PowerShell per SharePoint 2022:

Register-SPVssWriter
 Registers the SharePoint VSS Writer service on the local server.

Unregister-SPVssWriter
 Unregisters the SharePoint VSS Writer service on the local server.

 

  1. Verificare che il tipo di avvio del servizio SharePoint VSS writer sia impostato su "Automatic"
  2. Aggiungere l'account Amministratore farm al gruppo di amministratori locale nel server front-end di SharePoint. 
  3. Riavviare il servizio SharePoint VSS Writer.
  4. Verificare che il writer SharePoint VSS sia elencato (controllare utilizzando "vssadmin list writers" nel prompt dei comandi)
