Symptoms

I backup Hyper-V di Avamar potrebbero non riuscire con errori simili ai seguenti: 

avhypervvss Error <41606>: Failed to fetch vss backup files for all the targets. Internal error.
avhypervvss Error <41586>: Failed to backup targets. Unable to assign vss reported backup files for all targets
avhypervvss Error <41662>: Failed to validate and expand the targets.
avhypervvss Error <41659>: Backup did not complete successfully

Cause

Il writer Hyper-V VSS potrebbe trovarsi in uno stato di errore. Questa operazione può essere confermata aprendo il prompt dei comandi di Windows o PowerShell ed eseguendo vssadmin list writers (senza citazioni):
 

Writer name: 'Microsoft Hyper-V VSS Writer'
   Writer Id: {66841cd4-6ded-4f4b-8f17-fd23f8ddc3de}

Resolution

Aprire il file services.msc console e riavviare il servizio Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management sul computer host Hyper-V.

Verificare che Hyper-V VSS Writer sia in uno stato valido o stabile eseguendo il seguente comando da un prompt di Windows o PowerShell:

vssadmin list writers
