Symptoms

SDC 드라이버가 로드되고 부팅 프로세스 중에 VG 및 LV가 활성화된 후 scini* 장치가 생성됩니다. 볼륨은 부팅 중에 자동으로 마운트됩니다.

lvdisplay 명령을 실행하면 LV 상태가 "사용할 수 없음"으로 표시됩니다.

LV는 자동으로 활성화되지 않습니다.

Cause

기본적으로 lvmetad 는 이벤트 기반 LV 활성화를 사용하며 udev 규칙을 사용하여 LVM 메타데이터를 캐시로 스캔하고 PV인 새 장치가 구성될 때 VG 및 LV를 활성화합니다. 그러나 lvmetad 는 scini 장치와 함께 작동하지 않습니다.

lvmetad가 비활성화된 경우 systemd 는 lvm-activation-generator 부팅 시퀀스 중 다양한 지점에서 LV를 활성화하는 systemd 장치를 생성합니다. 이것은 scini 장치가 구성되기 전에 활성화가 시도될 수 있는 가능성을 제거하지 않습니다.

Resolution

다음 줄을 추가합니다. /etc/udev/rules.d/20-scini.rules 파일(이전 SDC 버전의 경우 60-scini.rules):

ACTION=="add", DEVPATH=="*scini*", RUN+="/sbin/lvm pvscan --cache --activate ay /dev/$name"

 

RHEL7을 사용하는 경우 다음에서도 lvmetad를 활성화해야 합니다. /etc/lvm/lvm.conf 이 udev 규칙이 작동하려면 다음을 수행합니다.

use_lvmetad = 1

 

RHEL8을 사용하는 경우 lvmetad는 더 이상 사용되지 않습니다. udev 규칙만으로도 충분합니다.
