Symptoms

  • Jotkin tallennusjoukot eivät aiemmin kopioineet komentosarjalla tai automaattisesti.
  • Ghost-tallennusjoukko saattaa näkyä ilman aseman nimeä mminfo-ohjelmalla (lisätietoja on alla).
  • Tarkista, että kohdetiedostojärjestelmässä näkyy tallennustiedosto, mutta EI notes-tiedostoa.
  • saveset-skannerin komento epäonnistuu (lisätietoja on alla).
  • Tallennusjoukon kopiointi epäonnistuu seuraavan virheen vuoksi: Err: 5004-nfs lookup failed (nfs: Ei tällaista tiedostoa tai hakemistoa)

Cause

DD on ottanut säilytyslukituksen käyttöön. Tämä esti puutteellisen alkuperäisen tallennussarjan poistamisen ja estää seuraavaa kloonausyritystä kirjoittamasta tietoja liikaa kohdepolkuun.

Resolution

Kiertotapa:

Etsi tallennusjoukon polku edellä mainitusta tarkistusyrityksestä kohteessa: 
//nw-server-name/destination-device-path/08/04/notes/705d0dc6-00000004-5982f3fd-599ed855-190c442c-4c9896fd

Tarvitaan itse tallennusjoukon polku, joka on yhden notes-tason yläpuolella, esimerkiksi: 
//nw-server-name/destination-device-path/08/04/

Lisää sen jälkeen DD mtree -polku, joka käynnistää aina /data/azure1/mtree-name-nimen. DD-komentoriviliittymän mtree-luettelossa näkyvät määritetyt MTreet. MTreen nimi vastaa tavallisesti networker-palvelimen isäntänimeä. Lisää pitkä tallennusjoukon nimi loppuun.
Tässä esimerkissä koko polku on seuraava: 
/data/col1/nw-server-name/destination-device-path/08/04//705d0dc6-00000004-5982f3fd-599ed855-190c442c-4c9896fd

Tätä polkua on käytettävä, jotta datatoimialueen kohdejärjestelmän säilytyslukko voidaan poistaa käytöstä:
  • Suorita kohde-DD-komentoriviliittymässä mtree retention-lock revert [path] (polku edellä). Tämä pyytää sysadmin-salasanaa.
  • Kloonaa tallennusjoukko uudelleen. Sen pitäisi nyt toimia ongelmitta, koska se voi nyt kirjoittaa kohdepolkuun.
  • Kloonattuja saveset-asennuksia koskevat mminfo-kyselyt toimivat nyt oikein.
  • Toista kaikkien muiden tallennusasetinten kohdalla, joita ongelma koskee.
