Symptoms
As per Powerpath 6.1 Release notes, Windows Server 2016 (including Hyper-V) is supported. As per note, Nano Server for Windows Server 2016 is not supported. It does not mention about Windows Server 2016 Core edition.

PowerPath 6.1 is supported with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Core Edition.
Documentation will be modified to reflect the same.
