Symptoms

Implementace převzetí služeb při selhání VMware SRM

Uživatel nemůže provést převzetí služeb při selhání nástrojem VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) pomocí RecoverPoint (RP).
Nástroj VMware SRM odeslal příkaz k převzetí služeb při selhání přímo do RP.

Poznámka: V tomto scénáři nebyl řadič ViPR součástí postupu převzetí služeb při selhání.
V protokolech řadiče ViPR nejsou žádné související události.

4.1. Protection Group <protection group>    Error - Failed to recover datastore '<datastore name>'. VMFS volume residing on recovered devices '"<WWN of volume>"' cannot be found. Cause

Příčinou problému je, že cílové jednotky LUN nebyly exportovány do cílového clusteru.

 

Resolution

Zástupné řešení:

  • Chcete-li usnadnit převzetí služeb při selhání systému SRM, nezapomeňte cílové jednotky LUN předem exportovat do cílového clusteru.
  • To umožňuje, aby hostitelé ESXi viděli svazky během opětovného prohledávání.
  • To lze provést pomocí položky katalogu "Export Volume to a Host" v řadiči VIPR.
