Dell Unity: Uploading the Unity Upgrade File Fails With Error Code: 0x7d13001

Symptoms


After Steps 5 and 6, when reaching 99% progress, the following error message displays in Unisphere UI:

"The system encountered an unexpected error. Search for the error code on the support website or product forums, or contact your service provider, if available. (Error Code:0x7d13001)"

Cause

An issue occurs when uploading the Unity OE file. There are generally two (2) reasons:

 

  • The file is corrupt.
    • Likely the file did not copy entirely from Support Pages or other locations.
  • There is an intermittent connectivity issue between the Unisphere UI and the location where the OE file was copied from.
