Symptoms
- When executing the order "Create Block Volume to a Host", the order fails with the below error:
ViPR Controller: Error 12023: Encountered an error in export create: Encountered an SMIS error when attempting to query existing exports: Error when attempting to query LUN masking information: null
Cause
- The error originates from the SMI-S provider when ViPR tries to create the ExportGroup.
