Symptoms
The last backup of database <database_name> was not created using NetWorker Module for Microsoft
This backup of [<database_name>] will be promoted to a full database backup.
Cause
External SQL backup is running in addition to the NetWorker/NMM backup. If NetWorker did not promote the transaction log (incremental) backup, the backups would be unrecoverable, because some backups would be dependent on another (external) backup, unknown to NetWorker.
These can usually be seen in SQL Studio backup view under SQL Server name > Databases > Database name, as backups with no entry (or an alternative name) in the 'Backup Name' column, where NetWorker/NMM backups show with a name of LegatoNWNSQL.

Resolution
Identify and disable the external SQL backups, so only NetWorkerNMM is running SQL backups.
