Symptoms

Instalace Unisphere for VMAX na hostiteli se systémem Linux se nezdařila. Zobrazí se následující chybová zpráva:
 

Deploying schema and create user for ROOT...
 
Unisphere for VMAX Configuration Error. Installation will be aborted.
Please check the Unisphere for VMAX documentation to fix this configuration issue.
SMAS Database timeout cannot be started.

 


 

Cause

Přihlašovací prostředí uživatele postgres je nesprávné.

Resolution

Při řešení tohoto problému postupujte takto:

  • V souboru /etc/passwd změňte přihlašovací prostředí uživatele postgres na /bin/bash.
  • Přihlašovací shell by neměl obsahovat "/usr/sbin/nologin" ani "/bin/false".
