Symptoms

Följande fel uppstår under licensinstallationen efter att verktygsnoden har bytts ut:

ERROR: avmaint: license: server_exception(MSG_ERR_NOTSTARTED)

Cause

Tjänsten Avamar Services Control Daemon (ASCD) ligger nere på Avamar Utility Node.

Resolution

1. Logga in på Avamar-verktygsnoden som administratör.

2. Kontrollera att ASCD-tjänsten inte körs:

ps -ef |grep ascd |grep -v "grep"
 

Kommandot genererar inga utdata om ASCD-tjänsten är nere. Om tjänsten körs slutar du använda den här lösningen.

3. Starta om ASCD:

ascd start
 

Exempel på utdata:

4. Kontrollera att ASCD-tjänsten körs:

5. Tillämpa den nya licensen:

avmaint license /tmp/ --ava
