Symptoms

使用者在目的地陣列上多次收到以下錯誤：

The DNS client is unable to connect to name server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx :I/O error

 

Cause

  • 使用 NAS 伺服器複寫時，目的地系統有時會錯誤地報告無法存取 DNS、NIS 或 LDAP 服務，且修正程式在版本 4.2.1.9535982 中

  • Unity OE 程式碼 （4.2.1.9535982） 程式碼可用於執行升級

  • 另外一種情況是在來源陣列上設定 CEPA，可能會在每次同步複寫時，在目的地陣列上觸發這些錯誤。這可在最高至 5.0.2.x 的所有 Unity OE 程式碼版本中看到。此修正將於未來的 Unity OE 版本中實作

 

Resolution

因應措施 #1：

在來源陣列上套用下列參數變更，以抑制 DNS/LDAP/NIS 警示：

注意：此因應措施目前不適用於已設定 CEPA 並觸發錯誤的情況。請參閱 CEPA 相關錯誤的下一個因應措施。

DNS：

svc_nas   -param -facility dns -modify suppressDnsStatus -value 1

NIS：

svc_nas   -param -facility nis -modify suppressNisStatus -value 1

LDAP：

svc_nas   -param -facility ldap -modify suppressLdapStatus -value 1

因應措施 #2：

如果 CEPA 被視為造成目的地 NAS 伺服器上 DNS 錯誤的因素，則隱藏警示目前無法運作。若要減少錯誤，請設定來源陣列上的 NAS 伺服器，以使用 CEPA 伺服器的 IP 位址。這樣就不需要名稱解析。

  • 執行：tailf /EMC/C4Core/log/c4_safe_ktrace.log |grep 'DNS 用戶端無法連線至名稱伺服器'，並出現以下錯誤：
