Resolution

For performing an IP Change, the ECS Virtual Data Center (VDC) must be operating at version 3.3.0.1 or later. In a network-separated environment, the IPs for data, replication, or management IPs can be changed as well.

The IP change procedure must only be started when all VDCs in the federation are on the same code level.

The hostname or FQDN of a node cannot be changed. To change the hostname or FQDN of a node, require a reinstall of ECS. Reach out to Dell Support for this action.
