Symptoms
When importing a Consistency Group (multiple LUNs) to PowerStore, it is possible that the Import may fail with the message "Consistency group member cannot be imported because the Import status cannot be determined due to an internal error. Contact technical support" and generates error 0XE0301007001D.
Issue
When importing a Consistency Group (multiple LUNs) to PowerStore, it is possible that the Import may fail with the message "Consistency group member cannot be imported because the Import status cannot be determined due to an internal error. Contact technical support" and generates error 0XE0301007001D.
This issue has been observed when the import involved a Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5 operating system with the PowerStore ImportKit plug-in, a Unity array with Consistency Groups containing 16 LUNs, and the integrated PowerStore Import services. This issue may affect other configurations.
This failure may be caused by a transient internal error involving the PowerStore Import engine and the migration plug-in on the Linux Host.
Solution
The issue should be transient. Retry the Import operation.If the issue persists after attempting to retry the import operation, contact technical support.
