De gebruikersnaam die wordt gebruikt om in te loggen op de fabrieksinstallatiekopie is "root".

Het standaard standaard rootwachtwoord is de servicetag van het VEP4600 gevolgd door het teken "!".

Voorbeeld: Servicetag AAAXXXY, het standaard wachtwoord is: "AAAXXXY!"
