Isilon: How to Change the 'compadmin' User Password on Isilon SmartLock Compliance Mode Clusters

Instructions
To change the password for the 'compadmin' user on compliant mode clusters, there are three options.
Option 1: passwd
Option 2: 'isi auth'
OneFS 7.2.x and Earlier:
Option 1: passwd
To change the password for the 'compadmin' user, issue the following command:
$ passwd
Follow the prompts to change the password. For additional information regarding the 'passwd' command, run: $ man passwd
In the event that this returns an error, try option 2.

Option 2: 'isi auth'
To change the password for the 'compadmin' user without using 'passwd', issue the one of the following commands:
OneFS 7.2.x and Earlier:
$ isi auth modify user --user=compadmin --password=<password>
OneFS 8.x and Later:
$ isi auth users modify compadmin --pasword=<password>
$ isi auth modify user --user=compadmin --password=<password>
OneFS 8.x and Later:
$ isi auth users modify compadmin --pasword=<password>
This command should return no output. For additional information about the 'isi auth' command, please see the Isilon OneFS CLI Administration Guide relevant to your version of OneFS.
Note: It is important to be sure you are entering the password accurately when issuing this 'isi auth' command. Unlike 'passwd', this method does not ask to confirm your changes.

Option 3: Using the WebUI
To change the 'compadmin' password using the OneFS WebUI, follow these steps:
OneFS 7.2.x and Earlier:
- Log into the WebUI as 'compadmin'.
- Go to Access > Membership & Roles.
- Click the 'Users' tab and choose 'FILE:System' from the 'Select a provider' drop-down menu.
- Click 'View Details' next to 'compadmin'.
- Click 'Edit' next to 'Password' and enter your desired password.
- Click 'Save'.
OneFS 8.x and Later:
- Log into the WebUI as 'compadmin'.
- Go to Access > Membership & Roles.
- Click the 'Users' tab and choose 'FILE:System' from the 'Select a provider' drop down menu.
- Click 'View / Edit' next to 'compadmin'.
- Click 'Edit User'.
- Enter your desired password in the 'password' field.
- You may have to choose a value from the 'UNIX Shell' drop-down menu. By default, OneFS uses /bin/zsh.
- Click 'Save'.
