Symptoms



When trying to disable automatic expiry of a VMware datastore copy from the Service Plan Menu, the expire wizard appears instead of the rotation wizard. As a result it is not possible to enable/disable the expiration of the selected copy.

Cause

This issue is caused by a GUI bug in AppSync 3.7.0.0.

Resolution

The issue is resolved in AppSync 3.7.0.1.
See page 4 of the AppSync 3.7.0.1 readme where it states:
 
CQ: 114675
Resolved an issue where the VMWare datastore
copies were expired when rotation expiration was
disabled on the copy.
 
The issue is not present in versions above AppSync 3.7.0.1.
