Cause

VMware 工程部门已确定，此问题是由抢占异常引起的，该异常导致 SchedSysServiceContextPut（） 中出现随机上下文死机。

PowerPath/VE for VMware 6.3、6.4 和 6.5 的应用程序指纹识别功能存在问题，可能会导致抢占异常。

 

Resolution

在内部对此问题进行故障处理时，发现与应用程序指纹功能相关的 PowerPath/VE 问题。虽然我们不能 100% 确定这是用户看到的恐慌的原因，但作为预防措施，我们建议任何经历过此类恐慌的用户禁用应用程序指纹功能。

解决方法（仅适用于 Symmetrix 微码 5978.221 版本的情况）：
禁用应用程序指纹。

分辨率：
升级到当前可在戴尔支持网站上下载的 PowerPath/VE 7.0 P01 或更高版本。

要验证该功能是否已启用，请执行以下作：

        Autostandby:  IOs per Failure (iopf): enabled
                      iopf aging period     : 1 d
                      iopf limit            : 6000

                      reactive autorestore = on
                      auto host registration = enabled
                      app finger printing = enabled
                      device to array performance report = enabled

要关闭该功能，请执行以下作：

提醒：
  • 启用/禁用此功能不需要在 ESXi 主机上执行任何维护活动，并且在重新启动后会持续存在。
  • 与此功能关联的阵列端无需进行任何更改。
  • 此解决方法仅适用于低于 5978.221 的 Symmetrix 微码。
  • 从 Symmetrix 微码 5978.221 及更高版本开始，在 Symmetrix 上启用 I/O 标记，这会触发 PowerPath/VE 中的缺陷，从而导致 PSOD。
