Adobe Acrobat that is purchased through Dell contains a redemption code for a:

  • One time (Perpetual) license
    • Download and activate the software on (1) computer.
    • The license does not expire.
  • Cloud (Subscription) license.
    • Download and activate the software on (2) computers.
      • Software can only be used on (1) computer at a time.
    • The license expires when the subscription ends.

Click the appropriate license type for installation directions.

Click either New Install or Reinstall for the appropriate directions.

Warning: These steps are intended for customers who have never installed Adobe Acrobat. Reference the Reinstall section if previously installed.

A perpetual license of Adobe Acrobat can be purchased at Dell:

  • At the point of sale (POS) of a Dell computer
  • After point of sale (APOS) of a Dell computer

To install the product:

  1. In the Windows Start Menu, search and then click Dell Digital Delivery.

  1. Record the Acrobat [VERSION] Serial Number displayed on the screen. This Serial Number, which is required for activating your software, is different from the Product Key you received through Dell Digital Delivery in step 2. After noting the Serial Number, proceed by clicking Download.

To reinstall a perpetual license, you must:

  • Deactivate the original installation of Adobe Acrobat.
