Symptoms

Users who install CEE 8.7.8.1 with configuration to use the CEPA facility may see failure of CEE to validate partner applications. The result would be the platform showing CEE in a state of not being able to find the partner application.

Cause

During normal operations, CEE will validate partner applications using credentials which have been assigned to the partner in CEE.  A code deficiency in CEE 8.7.8.1 may cause that validation to fail, resulting in CEE reporting a non-online state to the platform.
