vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for Powermax Workflows Not Visible in vRealize Orchestrator Client Version 7.x and 8.x After Plugin Upgrade

Symptoms

The user is unable to see or perform any vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for Powermax workflows after upgrade to version 1.2.1 of the Plugin.

The following is observed in the vRealize Orchestrator server.log upon reboot after installing vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for Powermax version 1.2.1:

This plug-in finder will be removed.


Cause

Existence of a Powermax Management Server in Inventory in a prior version of the vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for Powermax.

Resolution

1. Remove the current version of the vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for Powermax.
2. Install the previous version of the vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for Powermax.
2. Execute Workflow: "Remove Management Server" and remove all of the previous Powermax Management Servers.
3. Remove the currently installed version of the Plugin and install the target Plugin version.
