Symptoms

In een nieuwe PowerStore implementatie wordt tijdens het maken van een cluster (ICW) de netwerkvalidatiecontrole geretourneerd met de volgende fout:

Cause

Voor SDNAS/NAS-services is IPv6-capaciteit vereist op dataswitches.
In NONE Dell TOR bestaat de kans dat IPv6 NIET is ingeschakeld zoals vereist.

 

Resolution

Klant- en support-/implementatieservices kunnen samenwerken met de netwerkbeheerders om het volgende te garanderen:

  1. IPv6 is vereist voor NAS-bewerkingen.
    Vanaf 1.0.3, SP3, gebruikt de IPv6-communicatie binnen het cluster een interne fysieke laag in plaats van het LACP-poortkanaal. Voor NAS-bewerkingen is echter nog steeds IPV6 op het LACP vereist voor het implementeren van een uniforme configuratie.

  2. Ook moet het native vlan zijn toegestaan op de LACP-poortkanaalconfiguratie.
    Hieronder volgt een configuratievoorbeeld van andere VLAN's die zijn toegestaan terwijl de VLAN ID anders is:
