Prosedyre
  • OneFS
    • ping -D -s 8952 (eller 8972) <Destinasjon IP-adresse>
  • Linux
    • ping -M do -s 8952 (ELLER 8972) <Destinasjon IP-adresse>
  • Windows
    • ping -l 8952 (ELLER 8972) -f <Destinasjon IP-adresse>
Eksempel (MTU 9000) 
[root@sut14 ~]# ping -M do -s 8972 10.10.10.10
PING 10.10.10.10 (10.10.10.10) 8972(9000) bytes of data.
