Dell Unity: Nie można utworzyć tradycyjnej puli z Unisphere LUB RAID 5 lub 10 są niedostępne podczas tworzenia puli z Unisphere

W tej sytuacji macierz Unity pracowała w wersji OE 5.2 i wszystkie dyski NL-SAS były obecne w macierzy.

Podczas próby utworzenia puli z Unisphere dostępna jest tylko macierz RAID 6 (macierze RAID 5 i RAID 10 są niedostępne).

Macierz Unity działa zgodnie z projektem.

W systemie Dell Unity OE w wersji 4.2 lub nowszej pula dynamiczna jest jedynym typem puli, który można utworzyć w Unisphere dla systemu All-Flash. Dotyczy to również systemów hybrydowych z systemem operacyjnym w wersji 5.2 lub nowszej. Tworzenie tradycyjnej puli wymaga użycia interfejsu wiersza polecenia Unisphere lub interfejsu API REST. Ponadto podczas tworzenia puli dynamicznej z dyskami NL-SAS podczas korzystania z Unisphere dozwolony jest tylko RAID 6.

Tradycyjną pulę można utworzyć z poziomu interfejsu wiersza polecenia przy użyciu poniższych poleceń

3) uemcli -d <IP Address> -u Local/admin -p <Password> /stor/config/pool create -name <Pool Name> -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional           <- Command to create a traditional Pool (we use 45 of the 47 drives to leave 2 for spares)

Note: This command is run from a workstation with Unity uemcli installed.
Alternately the command can be run directly on the SP via an SSH connection:

uemcli -u Local/admin -p <Password> /stor/config/pool create -name <Pool Name> -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional
