Symptoms
I den här situationen körde Unity-disksystemet OE 5.2 och alla NL-SAS-enheter fanns i disksystemet.
När du försöker skapa en pool från Unisphere är endast RAID 6 tillgängligt (RAID 5 och RAID 10 är inte tillgängliga).
När du försöker skapa en pool från Unisphere är endast RAID 6 tillgängligt (RAID 5 och RAID 10 är inte tillgängliga).
Cause
Unity-disksystemet fungerar som planerat.
I Dell Unity OE version 4.2 och senare är en dynamisk pool den enda pooltyp som kan skapas i Unisphere för ett helt flashbaserat system. Detta gäller även hybridsystem som kör OE version 5.2 och senare. För att skapa en traditionell pool måste du använda Unisphere CLI eller REST API. När du skapar en dynamisk pool med NL-SAS-enheter tillåts dessutom endast RAID 6 när du använder Unisphere.

2) uemcli /stor/config/dg show <- Shows the Disk Groups available in the system ID = dg_26 Drive type = SAS Flash 3 FAST Cache = no Drive size = 393846128640 (366.7G) Vendor size = 400.0G Rotational speed = 0 rpm Number of drives = 47 Unconfigured drives = 47 Capacity = 18510768046080 (16.8T) Recommended number of spares = 0
3) uemcli -d <IP Address> -u Local/admin -p <Password> /stor/config/pool create -name <Pool Name> -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional <- Command to create a traditional Pool (we use 45 of the 47 drives to leave 2 for spares) Note: This command is run from a workstation with Unity uemcli installed. Alternately the command can be run directly on the SP via an SSH connection: uemcli -u Local/admin -p <Password> /stor/config/pool create -name <Pool Name> -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional
