新交換器加入靜態光纖後，就能成為主要交換器在主要交換器選擇階段 具有最高優先順序的交換器就會成為主要交換器如果兩個交換器配置了相同的優先順序 全球名稱最低 （WWN） 的交換器會成為主要交換器
默認情況下，配置的優先順序為128。優先順序的有效範圍介於 1 和 254 之間。優先順序 1 具有最高優先順序。可接受來自其他交換器的值 255 但無法在本機上設定
您可以使用以下步驟在交換器上設定優先順序值，例如針對虛擬儲存區域網路 （VSAN）：
switch # configure terminal
switch (config) # fcdomain priority x vsan vsan-id {x is the priority value}
