VMware는 악용을 방지하기 위해 플러그인을 비활성화하거나 호환되지 않음으로 설정해야 하는 몇 가지 권장 사항(VMSA-2021-0010)을 릴리스했습니다. VMSA-2021-0010의 문제를 해결하는 vCenter Server Appliance를 버전 7.0 U2b, 6.7 U3n 또는 6.5 U3p로 업그레이드하지 않으려는 고객을 위한 해결 방법은 플러그인을 호환되지 않는 것으로 설정하는 것입니다.

VMSA-2021-0010에서 영향을 받는 vSAN 상태 점검 플러그인은 vSAN의 사용 여부와 관계없이 모든 vCenter Server 배포에서 기본적으로 활성화됩니다.

  1. 비활성화하거나 "비호환"으로 설정하기 전에 VMware vSAN H5 클라이언트 플러그인용 플러그인이 배포 또는 활성화되어 있는지 확인하십시오.

  1. vCenter Server Appliance에 대한 PuTTY 세션을 엽니다.

  1. compatibility-matrix.xml 백업합니다. 이 파일은 다음 위치에 있습니다.
/etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/compatibility-matrix.xml

파일을 백업하려면 다음을 수행합니다.

cp -v /etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/compatibility-matrix.xml /etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/compatibility-matrix.xml.backup
  1. VI와 같은 텍스트 편집기로 파일 compatibility-matrix.xml 엽니다.
vi /etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/compatibility-matrix.xml

  1. 플러그인을 비활성화하고 "호환되지 않음"으로 설정하려면 아래 스크린샷과 같이 파일을 저장하고 종료하는 다음 줄을 추가합니다.

  1. 중지 및 재시작 vsphere-ui 다음 명령을 사용한 서비스:
# service-control --stop vsphere-ui

  1. VMware vSAN H5 클라이언트 플러그인이 호환되지 않음으로 설정되어 있는지 검증하도록 더 이상 인증되지 않으므로 vSphere Client 세션에 다시 로그인합니다.
