Symptoms
With NetWorker Module for Microsoft (NMM), Hyper-V Linux VM Granular Level Recovery (GLR) is not supported. This is a current limitation in NMM.

Cause
This is a current limitation in NMM.
The NMM documentation states:
You can perform GLR of NMM backups of Hyper-V virtual machine that has a Windows operating system. NMM does not support GLR of non-Windows virtual machines on Hyper-V, for example Linux virtual machines.

Resolution
You can only perform image recovery of Linux VM.
