Symptoms

  • VMware 虛擬機 （VM） 透過 NetWorker VMware Protection （NVP） vProxy 應用裝置受到保護。
  • 備份失敗並顯示錯誤：
Failed to open DDBoost connection to DataDomain host "DFC-DDXXXXXX": [5008] invalid argument

Cause

在 vProxy 備份所使用的備份裝置上啟用直接光纖通道 （DFC）：但是，vProxy 應用裝置並未設定為 VM Direct DFC 備份。

Resolution

選項 1：

設定 vProxy 應用裝置，以支援 VM Direct DFC 備份和復原作業。請參閱 《NetWorker VMware 整合指南》， 瞭解 VM Direct DFC 需求、限制和組態需求。

選項 2：

從用於 VM 備份的 NetWorker 裝置移除光纖通道設定：

1.登入 NetWorker 管理控制台 （NMC），然後前往裝置裝置>。
注意：若為 NetWorker Web 使用者介面 （NWUI），請移至「裝置與媒體」->「裝置」。
2.開啟 VM NetWorker 保護原則所使用的裝置屬性。
3.請確定已清除「Auto Media Management」方塊，以防止裝置在下一個步驟中自動重新掛接。
4.卸下裝置。
5.再次開啟裝置內容，清除「啟用光纖通道」，然後刪除「光纖通道主機名」。儲存變更。
6.安裝裝置。如果先前啟用，請重新啟用「自動媒體管理」。
