Symptoms
備份失敗，並顯示：
Unable to create snapshot. Unable to take a snapshot for virtual machine 'vm-24655' after multiple retry attempts. An error occurred while quiescing the virtual machine. See the virtual machine's event log for details.
查看虛擬機事件日誌未顯示相關錯誤。
虛擬機器vmware.log顯示：
[msg.snapshot.quiesce.startfail] Failed to start quiescing operation in the virtual machine.
使用靜止客體檔案系統設定測試快照成功完成，但顯示 靜止客體檔案系統 = 否。
Cause
此問題與 PPDM 無關。VMware Tools 和客體作業系統之間的某種互動。
Resolution
在虛擬機器上解除安裝並重新安裝 VMware Tools。
測試快照，並確保 靜止客體檔案系統 = 是。
現在備份應該可以完成。
