Symptoms

NetWorker se puede iniciar mediante el comando "nsrexecd", pero el uso de comandos systemctl falla de manera coherente: 
# systemctl status networker
...
system[1]: networker.service: start operation timed out. Terminating.
system[1]: networker.service: Failed with result ‘timeout’.
system[1]: Failed to start EMC NetWorker. A backup and restoration software package..

Cause

La carpeta networker.service estaba vacía:
/sys/fs/cgroup/devices/system.slice/networker.service

Se desconoce la causa de que esta carpeta quedara vacía.

Resolution

Solución alternativa:
Copie los archivos networker.service desde un sistema cliente de NetWorker que funcione en un sistema operativo similar en el sistema afectado y vuelva a cargar los demonios: 
systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl restart remote-fs.target
systemctl restart local-fs.target

Resolución:
Si el comportamiento se repite, comuníquese con el soporte de Dell para investigar la causa raíz.
