Symptoms
当虚拟机具有 RDM 磁盘时，用于虚拟机备份的 PowerProtect Data Manager 保护作业失败。保护计划会从备份中排除 RDM 磁盘。
在故障发生时报告以下错误消息：
Error : Backup has FAILED. Unable to create snapshot. Unable to create non-quiesced snapshot after a retry attempt. Virtual machine is configured to use a device that prevents the snapshot operation: Device '' is a SCSI controller engaged in bus-sharing. (500) VADP is used as the data mover for the backup.
选择 Transparent Snapshot Data Mover （TSDM） 作为资产的数据移动器后，备份作业仍使用 VMware vStorage API for Data Protection （VADP） 运行。
Cause
对于具有共享 SCSI 控制器的虚拟机，即使备份策略仅包含未共享的磁盘，也不支持 VADP 备份。
