Symptoms
當虛擬機器具有 RDM 磁碟時，虛擬機器備份的 PowerProtect Data Manager 保護工作會失敗。保護計劃已從備份中排除 RDM 磁碟。
系統會在故障時回報下列錯誤訊息：
Error : Backup has FAILED. Unable to create snapshot. Unable to create non-quiesced snapshot after a retry attempt. Virtual machine is configured to use a device that prevents the snapshot operation: Device '' is a SCSI controller engaged in bus-sharing. (500) VADP is used as the data mover for the backup.
當選擇 Transparent Snapshot Data Mover （TSDM） 做為資產的資料移動者時，備份工作仍會使用 VMware vStorage API for Data Protection （VADP） 執行。
Cause
具有共用 SCSI 控制器的虛擬機不支援 VADP 備份，即使備份策略僅包括未共用的磁碟。
在 PowerProtect Data Manager 19.13 及更低版本中，存在程式碼瑕疵。儘管 RDM 磁碟已從備份中排除，但此缺陷仍會考慮在內。因此，備份工作最終會使用 VADP 而非 TSDM。
