Switch Health Report: ======================= Current Switch Policy Status: MARGINAL Contributing Factors: --------------------- *FLASH_USAGE (MARGINAL).
Cause
After the FOS runs for years, the file /var/log/mstatdir/memorystatus becomes large. The old FOS collects the memory status dump every 60 minutes and appends the output to that file, thus it results in high flash usage.
Resolution
Contact the Dell Support team to clear the file.
Additional Information
New FOS codes such as v8.2.3d generate a new
memorystatus log file every day and keep up to 31 files to avoid this issue.Affected Products
