PowerFlex 4.x changes made using CLI are not reflected in PFMP GUI

Summary: New SDC got created and added using PowerFlex CLI. CLI detects and lists the SDC, but SDC is not visible in block tab.

Symptoms

  • Newly created SDC not visible in block tab
  • All mapping options are greyed out
  • Mapping option reports 'Not connected to MDM'

Cause

SDC created using CLI

Resolution

The issue can be fixed by restarting the powerflex-block-presentation service.

   kubectl delete pod -n powerflex $(kubectl get pods -n powerflex |grep -i presentationservice | awk '{print $1}')
