CHAP認証が有効になっているDell PowerEdgeサーバー上のiSCSIネットワークからDell PowerStoreアプライアンスへのuEFI Boot From SAN (BFS)の導入。
サーバー コンソールに、CHAPログインの失敗によりiSCSI起動を続行できないことを示すメッセージがPOST中に表示されます
この問題は、さまざまなBIOSバージョンのDell 16GインテルおよびAMDプラットフォームで発生します。この問題が発生するDell PowerStoreアプライアンスは、複数のバージョンのPowerStoreOSでも動作する可能性があります。
Cause
PowerStoreアプライアンスは、サポート アルゴリズムとして「CHAP_A=7」を誤って選択し、SHA1アルゴリズムを使用して、16G BIOSがSHA256を使用してエンコードするCHAP応答コードをデコードしようとします。これにより、最終的なCHAP認証が失敗します。
Resolution
PowerStoreOSをバージョン3.6.1.0-2261541以降にアップグレードして解決します。
