Symptoms

NetWorker is geïntegreerd met externe authenticatie. 
AD/LDAP-gebruikers zien af en toe aanmeldingsfouten. Lokale NetWorker-accounts (bijvoorbeeld het standaard administrator-account) ervaren geen authenticatieproblemen.

De NetWorker Authentication (authc)-server rapporteert het volgende in de authc-server-audit.log:
Linux: /nsr/authc/logs/authc-server-audit.log

De fout meldt een onjuiste gebruikersnaam/wachtwoord; Het probleem doet zich echter slechts af en toe voor, wat suggereert dat de referenties correct zijn.

Cause

Aangezien het probleem zich alleen voordoet bij externe gebruikers (AD/LDAP), wordt aangenomen dat het probleem zich buiten NetWorker voordoet. Specifieke oorzaken kunnen variëren.

Resolution

Dit probleem moet worden onderzocht door de netwerk- en domeinbeheerders.

De DNS-resolutie (Domain Name System) tussen de NetWorker-server en de AD-server controleren:

Controleer of de NetWorker Authentication-server geen hoge latentie of communicatieproblemen met de AD-server waarneemt:
OPMERKING: De standaard AD/LDAP-poort is 389. Als integratie LDAPS (SSL) gebruikt, is de standaardpoort 636.
