Symptoms
Switch > mapssam --show memory Showing Memory Usage: Memory Usage : 91.0 % Used Memory : 1695439k Free Memory : 167681k Total Memory : 1863120k
Cause
The output of the command 'Mapssam -show memory' indicates that system memory usage is high due to Maps SAM reports.
NOTE: There are no events generated on the switch or any MAPS alerts showing this High memory usage.
The Maps Summary health dashboard also indicates healthy.
Resolution
This mapssam memory can be cleared using the command below that helps to update the memory usage.
mapssam --clear
NOTE: This is a non-disruptive command and affects the switch traffic.
