Symptoms

升級在 10% 時失敗，並顯示錯誤：

Cause

第一個原因：

  • 在 vCenter 升級的 WLD 網域上發現問題。
  • vSphere-UI 服務當機，因為堆積記憶體不足
    vSphere-UI 當機
    Java 記憶體不足錯誤
  • 在 /var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/logs/vsphere-ui-runtime.log.stout 中： 
    Dumping heap to /var/log/vmware/vsphere-ui/java_pid240884.hprof ...
Heap dump file created [968706533 bytes in 3.764 secs]
Terminating due to java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
  • 使用以下命令檢查 vsphere ui 的堆積記憶體： 
    cloudvm-ram-size -l
    檢查堆積記憶體

第二期：

  • 叢集中第一個節點的磁碟群組遺失
  • 由於第一個問題，無法新增磁碟群組

 

Resolution

  • 使用以下命令將堆積記憶體增加到 2500： 
    cloudvm-ram-size -C 2048 vsphere-ui
  • 解決 vCenter 問題後，新增遺失的磁碟群組
  • 升級已成功進行
