Symptoms

Ubuntu を実行している Edge Gateway を最初に起動すると、cloud-init プロセスが失敗します。次のような現象が1つ以上発生することがあります。
起動時にEthernetポートが機能しない。
システムでは、初回起動時にUbuntuパスワードを変更する必要はありませんでした。

Cause

これは、Ubuntuのcloud-initが失敗したか、初期セットアップが完了していないためです。

Resolution

cloud-initプロセスをリセットするには、デフォルトの認証情報を使用してユニットにログインし、次のコマンドを実行します。  
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/cloud/instance
sudo cloud-ini clean
sudo rm /var/log/cloud-init*.log
sudo poweroff

システムは、次回の電源投入時にローカル初期化プロセスをトリガーします。
