Aankondiging

Het Dell BSAFE productteam kondigt de algemene beschikbaarheid van Dell BSAFE SSL-J 6.6 aan. Deze release bevat Dell BSAFE Crypto-J 6.3 met BSAFE Java Crypto Module 6.3 FIPS 140-2 provider.

Deze release lost twee middelgrote beveiligingslekken op. Details over deze beveiligingslekken zijn beschikbaar in Dell Security Advisory DSA-2024-221: Beveiligingsupdate voor meerdere beveiligingslekken in Dell BSAFE™ SSL-J.

Deze release bevat de volgende relevante wijzigingen:
  • Oplossingen voor beveiligingslekken
  • Verbeterde beveiliging via:
    • Verbeterde ondersteuning voor PKIX: betere en striktere conformiteit met RFC 9525 - Service Identity in TLS.
    • Verbeterde eindpuntidentificatie.
    • SHA-1-handtekeningschema's zijn nu standaard uitgeschakeld.
  • Gebruik van BSAFE Crypto-J 6.3 voor FIPS 140-2-ondersteuning.
