PowerProtect: Agent-based backup fails with error "SQLite error code: 1"

Symptoms

When the length of a protection policy name is long and a storage unit is created using protection policy name, agent based backup jobs fails. Error messages similar to the following can be found in the log file for the failed job:

Cause

This is a software defect.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) 19.17 and above.

As a workaround, this issue can be resolved by creating a protection policy with a smaller name or storage unit to have a smaller name.
