Symptoms

Un client NetWorker viene configurato per i backup del file system utilizzando il software client NetWorker.

Il backup non riesce a causa dei seguenti errori nei log delle azioni: 
save: Unable to set up the direct save with server 'xxxxxxxxx': Client 'xxxxxxx' is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server..
save: Cannot open a save session with NetWorker server 'xxxxxxxxx': Client 'xxxxxxx' is not properly configured on the NetWorker Server..

Cause

Il nome del client o del dominio viene modificato.
Pertanto, gli alias del client non vengono aggiornati correttamente nelle proprietà del client.

Resolution

Gli alias client devono essere aggiornati correttamente. Segui i passaggi seguenti per aggiornarli:
  1. Da NMC o NWUI, nella scheda Protection-Clients>, selezionare il client in errore
  2. Cliccare con il pulsante destro del mouse e selezionare Modify Client Properties
  3. Ora vai alla scheda "Globals (1 of 2)"
  4. Deselezionare gli alias e cliccare su Ok per salvare
Ora, quando aprite le proprietà del client e controllate, gli alias sono stati aggiornati correttamente.
Avviare un backup del client.
