Symptoms

シナリオ

MVM PowerFlex Managerプラットフォーム(PFMP)ノード用のお客様のRHELイメージがインストールされたPowerFlexアプライアンス16G - RHEL 8.10。

PFMPのインストールは、第2ステージの74%で失敗します。

bedrock.logには、次のエラーが表示されます。

 fatal: [host1]: FAILED! => changed=false
 assertion: ansible_failed_task is ot defined and ansible_failed_result is not defined
 evaluated_to: false
 msg: |2-
       The failed task in the block: "Install fluxtoolkit via helmrelease"
       The reason for failure is: "Error: INSTALLATION FAILED: failed to download "plafform/flux-toolkit" at version "v0.21.2-29.5bac9c54""

問題 

PFMPを導入できません。

Cause

CMOでは、Helmチャートを適切にセットアップするためにUMASK022が必要です。UMASK027は、rootにrwx権限、グループにr-x権限を与え、その他のグループには権限を与えません。

Resolution

KB - PowerFlexに従って、3つすべてのMVM (PFMP)ノードでumask値を変更します。PFMPホストで異なるumask値を許可する方法 |Dellインド支社 

値を変更した後、次のスクリプトを順番に実行して、PFMPインストーラーをリセットしてセットアップし、PFMPインストールを開始します。

# /opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
# /opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
# /opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh
 

『Dell PowerFlex 4.6.xリリース ノート』の18ページには、次のように記載されています。

現象：PowerFlex管理プラットフォームのインストール プロセスでは、umaskをLinuxのデフォルト(022)に設定する必要があります。デフォルトのumask設定を変更した場合、イメージをプルするときに、helmイメージに適切な権限がありません。 

推奨される処置: umaskを022に変更します。
